# Get SecretKey From Lobstr

Due to the extremely sensitive nature of this data, **always be very careful** when using your secretkey or mnemonic phrase, **they are the only "access key" to your wallet** and consequently to **your funds**. Always **keep it safe**, the **loss or theft** of these lead to the **loss of funds in an irreversible way**.

## Q: Why do I need the SecretKey?

### A: You will need the SecretKey to access [Albedo](/stellarcannacoin/get-started/liquidity-provider/lp-on-albedo.md) or [SDEX](/stellarcannacoin/get-started/liquidity-provider/lp-on-sdex.md) in case you want to participate in the liquidity pool, besides allowing you to recover your wallet

To find out your SecretKey, from the LOBSTR dashboard click on "Settings" *(a)* make sure you are on the "Wallet" tab *(b)* and click on "Reveal secret key" *(c)*\

You will be asked to enter your password *(fig. 11)* and then you will be shown your SecretKey *(fig. 12)*... once again... **take extreme care of it!**
